The Lagoon 46 in the Gulf

The Lagoon 46 is one of the most requested cruising catamarans in the Emirates, and for good reason: its stable twin-hull platform, wide cockpit and flybridge suit the way owners actually sail here — day trips and weekends with family and guests, in flat coastal waters, with long evenings at anchor. Its shallow draught opens up the sandbanks and islands along the UAE coastline that deeper monohulls have to avoid.

From a berth in Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah or Abu Dhabi, the Lagoon 46 comfortably covers the classic Gulf cruising grounds: the islands off Abu Dhabi, the UAE west coast, and passages towards the Musandam fjords. The prime sailing season runs from October to May, and with the right preparation — awnings, ventilation and a serviced air-conditioning system — owners keep sailing through the warmer months.
