Tan Services was founded in 2009 with a simple conviction: the Arabian Gulf is one of the world’s most underrated sailing playgrounds, and its sailors deserve the same boats, expertise and service as any Mediterranean port. Seventeen years later, we have delivered more than 100 new sailing boats and serve a community of over 300 owners across the region.
We are the official and exclusive dealer for five of the world’s leading sailing brands — Lagoon catamarans, Beneteau monohulls, Dragonfly trimarans, Y Yachts luxury carbon sloops and Omikron power yachts — for the Middle East: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman. From a 14 ft First day sailer to an 82 ft luxury yacht, every boat we sell is chosen for how it behaves in Gulf conditions: light-to-moderate winds, shallow coastal waters and year-round sunshine.

Offices and workshop at Al Hamra, Ras Al Khaimah
Our base at Al Hamra Free Zone, Ras Al Khaimah is more than an office. Our workshop handles the full life of a boat: commissioning of new deliveries, rigging, repairs, seasonal maintenance, pre-delivery preparation and manufacturer warranty work. From Al Hamra, our team delivers, commissions and services boats across the UAE and the wider Gulf — and increasingly beyond, with recent deliveries as far as the Mediterranean.
More than a dealership
Buying a boat is the beginning, not the end. We train new owners at the helm, organise demo sails and owner events — including the annual Dragonfly Dinner Regatta — and represent our brands at the region’s major boat shows, from Dubai International Boat Show to Abu Dhabi. Our brokerage service helps owners sell and buyers find the right pre-owned yacht, with listings across the UAE and the Mediterranean. Our boats and service are trusted by discerning owners across the region — including the royal families of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Qatar.

Follow on LinkedIn Xavier has been living in Dubai for the past 28 years. After a successful
experience in distributing luxury across the Middle East through his first company
Euroluxe (created in 1997), he decided, in 2009, to enter the nautical world
by creating TAN Services, putting all his energy and expertise in it.
Xavier will share all his passion for sailing (since he was a kid in Brittany), his sense
for “real luxury” and beautiful things to make your dream come true.
Still racing today — on his Dragonfly 40, Xavier took part in the 2025 Rolex Fastnet Race, won his category in the La Trinité–Cowes race and placed third overall in the ArMen Race. Closer to home, he and his wife Tania were first to cross the finish line of the latest Dubai–Muscat offshore race.
